what brand(model) motor that do you guys perfer
I want a motor that accels fast and has a high top speed 65+ mph or what types of hop ups (upgrades) will do this for me(for a TC5)

A low turn brushless and a 11volt lipo should do the trick.....

And of course dont hit anything, forget the hopups your car is hopped up, save your spare change for fixing the car when you curb it at 65mph.
