Thats the only way I know of with suspension springs how to do that, so I'd say yes.

As for the brushes, I can only differenciate between silver and the more standard looking carbon brushes, unless they are still in the packet its near on impossible to say afaik...

Default Telling apart Orion V2 brushes and springs

I have acquired an Orion V2 modified endbell conversion (raffle prize won by team-mate).

It comes with one pair of Sprint and one pair of Enduro brushes - but they look identical to me - any way of telling them apart?

Also, with the brush springs, it comes with 1 each of the original 4 tensions. I assume that to tell them apart you count coils.

What spring/brush combo from this original set would people recommend for a 9x2 Yokomo handwound in a TC on rubber?
