I think it would also be cool to get the Mustang in the same couple of years as the Camaro and the Cuda. Maybe do a '69 or '70 fast back body.

Nah...do the '67-8 "Notchback" Mustang as raced in the TA against the '68 Camaro you already do.

Better...and to get a couple more mfr's in the mix (and that's what the TA was all about back then)...would be to do the '70 Javelin (best looking AMC before they went completely ugly for '71) and/or the '70 Dodge Challenger.
Congressmen should wear uniforms like NASCAR drivers so we can identify their corporate sponsors.

yey! school bus demolition derby!
Over the years there have been figure 8 races here in the NW which are a lot of fun, they used to do it at Rain City. Bunch of TT01's and some full on impact at the cross over, it's hilarious.

It would be great if we had enough turn out in racing all over that more and more of these novelty classes popped up...I'd love to run a class like this, or a truck class, or a school bus class, or a figure 8 open mod sedan class...

I like the detail of the HPI bodies. I wish they would do a 69 or 70 302 boss. It would look sweet. Those would be the years of the best racing in Trans Am.

Wes we talked about it at SIR about a year ago. Had mocked up cars all done and just no interest. If we can get a couple of guys who will run it for 2-3 weeks in a row then we can get the interest started. You can put Doug in there for a runner as he was all hot and bothered about it.

Yes, we have and we used to have a few different interior sets.
The challenge is making them fit the current generation of touring cars.
At this time it's something that we'd definitely like to do, along with more muscle cars of course (stay tuned....). Basically we just need to arrive at a set that would fit most of the chassis/bodies out there, maybe allow for some custom fitting (...cut/trim lexan etc).

So stay tuned...

I've added the Vintage Class for the Challenge Races next year and we're hoping to do races in SoCal, Delaware, Florida, Texas and maybe a few more places.

I'd also be into creating a section on our site (we get millions of hits a day) for the Vintage Class, including links/info on all the Vintage events/races around the country.

We mostly run chassis that are not new or in some cases old. I run a TC3 that is quite competitive and others run T2, TC3, HPI pro 4 and losi jrxs. With the weight penalties for the top 3 in the A main it is pretty equal. I think as we get farther into the season the weight additions will really start to bring the racing very close.

At OVRCCC, in Belpre, Ohio, they run a Nostalgic clas with nothing but Shaft drivin touring cars, such TC3s, TC4s HPI Pro 4s. This class is growing in leaps and bounds.. They run a 1800 spec battery, and a hand out spec motor which they turn in from week to week, and run the HPI Rims and tires with the Bodies.. Check it out at www.OVRCCC.com
