Have heard from several good sources who all say they haven't received any new stock of 414 kits and parts for many months now, since about xmas 2002.
The 414 kits were always made as Limited Edition Kits and are currently discontinued.
Looks like Tower stopped carrying parts for the 414MII. They used to have a parts section for it, but its no longer listed. If its not discontinued yet it will be very soon. I'm sure you can still get parts for it though.

Hey FUK_WRX... check this pix out... If this car looks like what you are talking about... then there is no kit for SSG M2... cuz this pix is the early production "display Models" of SSG chassis....

Yup, if it comes in that white "TAMIYA" box then its a demo/promo thing for display by the shops. Usually carried by the Tamiya sales reps...

I hear most Tamiya-reselling shops were given some promo SSG bits with the lightweight bulkheads a few mths ago. Some put them onto old 414s, others used TA04 bits to complete a rolling chassis for display.

(the one at my LHS was built from a TA04TRF, with used 414 belts and EvoIII hingepin holders...)
