Default Brushless 10.5 System

is it roar (or any big race) legal to run a brushless 10.5 motor in a 19t class. They are said to close in performance.
Thanks

if you go to a race and they dont allow 10.5 BL dont run
10.5 will be the new 19t spec (in 1/12) imo but i think for tc brushed is still faster.but time will tell.

So far, it looks like brushed is still faster in both 1/10 19T and 1/12 19T - however, with so many companies still looking to launch BL systems, maybe the new tech will change that. Based on the results locally, in the 19T classes, brushed still seems to have the advantage... and that is with like-skilled drivers as well.

i can say down the straight my car was the fastest BUT its me driving and in the infield the better drivers where faster.
BL in 1/12 is faster IMO duckman dude
but in TC coz of weight and other things BL is a tad slower.

Does any one know if there is a big difference in the performance between the Novak GTB with the 13.5 and the Novak XBR with the 13.5. So far the only thing i can tell is that the GTB is almost 100 bucks more then the XBR
Thanks

The XBR speedo can only use a 8.5 motor at the most, so if you ever wanted to race mod you'd have to upgrade to another speedo. The GTB comes with an SS Pro 13.5 motor, the XBR comes with an EX 13.5 motor. The SS Pro is sintered so will be quicker and remain cooler. So you can gear it alot higher without risking it thermalling (cutting out)
