Default 13.5 Question please help

Im was going to solder my motor to the speedo (new motor) and foud on the inside of the tabs was plastic it looks like a plastic washer that goes around the whole endbell. Also the tabs dont seem to have the normal holes in the middle of them to solder the wires in. Anyone had this issue?

Losi-boy... are you talking about the novak 13.5? If so the whitish material that you are talking about is fiberglass and can't be soldered to. The bent over tab above it is what you should solder to.

Ok I havent seen them like that before, and they dont leave much room on top if thats what you solder to.

Thank you.
They dont give you much room do they?
I kinda liked the hole style, any Idea why they did away with it?

It was a pain to get the wire in and out. The tabs are WAY better.

Have to agree with Adrain on this one - the holes are great when the motor and speedo are new (and Novak has done the soldering for you) but a pain in the butt when you want to change.
