Maybe, Its just xray already has the 08, and its still a normal pack, losi, team magic, AE, and a few others are still all with the side by side config...... I just think it would be weird for HB's to do a saddle car, if it works, then thats awesome, but for all of us that already have lipos................

Besides these are only rumors as I don't think anybody on this board has seen the car. Also Rick (Reedy) has said that they will release a saddle lipo in the future.

Steve

I know, its just I think HB's would make more money from the club racers buying the car, over the pro's????? Most (key word lol..) people are going lipo, and for someone like me who would want a new cyclone and still using my same packs (Since I just bought them really....) would be nice, I know no one has to buy it, but id like to buy a new cyclone if it gets a good update..... I know im not the only one thats a lipo user, and wants a new cyclone lol... But IFMAR is all nimh (5 cell right?) Jason has a VERY good point on the balance thing, and I guess thats a reason to do the saddle..

Hopefully atleast ROAR allows lipo this year

Anyone have valid info that this is actually the prototype instead of a modded Hara car.

Tamiya layshaft assembly, Xray steering belcrank.
Looks like someone has been busy with a dremel.

Looks nice, the cyclone is only of the only top level cars left with a short top deck, and long alloy centre bulkheads.

Hmmm, its strange that this prototype uses the driveshafts, the sway bar holders, the rear diff and the "upper blukheads" of the moorespeed instead of the cyclone TC (while this were just the improvements)... but i like the new topdeck and moter mount

From what I've heard, this is someone's own development, not an official HB prototype.
