Angry touring car racing in michigan

I was just wondering if anybody is noticing what is going on in our hobby? I can't understand how on friday nites we can't get more than 9 people to come to our local track to race. But on sat they can get 300 to sit around a dirt track and race, I'm not putting down dirt racing but I was just wondering is everybody now offroad guys? One thing I believe is that we need a governing body over all of our local tracks not one person but a whole group made up of local track people. This way tracks can alternate race days, I am not saying that this is a perfect salution but if anybody else has a idea feel free to explan. think about it we have 8 tracks and they all race on sunday so that means that every track has 2 heats.

If you are referring to indoor/on-road/carpet racing the season DIES every year. Most guys race outside and much of them race nitro touring cars and 1/8th scale 2wd nitro cars. Come late summer or early fall the carpet season is back in full force.
