Default Sigma carpet setup

Todb
For a carpet setup for your Sigma ,go to www.kawadamodel.co.jp then go to Sigma page and hit setups at the top of the Sigma page.Go to the bottom of that page and look for-2003 jan.12th crest TQ victory carpet course--this is a setup that should get you started in the right direction, even thou they are using a 23t motor and for a med-large carpet track. You may need a language translator(try bablefish)or may be able to get enough info from it with out .
www.kawadaracing.com (U.S SITE) has a setup on that site, but it is for asphalt setup ,not what your looking for,but still worth a look!
Hope that helps !
SAC
Don't for get to e-mail Kawadaracing your setup ,they will post it on there site! that goes for ALL Kawada cars Alcyon,Sigma,trip-mate and 1/12th 300m,send your setups for all track types to www.kawadaracing.com

Default Glue/adhesive for Delrin

To anyone that has tried to glue delrin, have you had fun? Here is the real stuff for Delrin and other slippery composites: IE: diff pulleys on Sigma.

Cyanopoxy by Dupont: can be purchased from:

www.coolchem.com

you need "integrator 75"
"activator 310"

this is a very expensive glue and you use so little, has a good shelf life. Use code 0270001 for a better price. I have made many repairs to delrin and composite materials and it does hold !!

Default Kawada Distributor

You can contact www.evolutionhobbies.com, normally you could contact them at www.kawadaracing.com but the site has had a major crash and they are working on it now. Hopefully it will be up and running over the weekend.

Default Site is up and running again !!!

Sorry, everyone, we now have the site back up. In the following weeks we will be modifying the site and be more explicit on what we will stock. We will concentrate on the Sigma, M24, and M300
We will stock PARTS only on the Alcyon. I hope everyone will visit the site in the coming weeks.

Default diff pulley?

Does anybody know if someone make's a machined one piece pulley for the diffs on the Kawada Sigma?does not matter what company or were there located, just want to find out.
U.S distributor is looking into having some made, but i was wondering if there was a company from over seas that might be making some already.

Default web-site updated!

Kawada's home web-site www.kawadamodel.co.jp has been updated and now has a "english" button on home page to convert most of the text on the site to english!!this will make it easier for people to see what Kawada has to offer. U.S site is www.kawadaracing.com
The m300 limited 2 1/12th kit is SOLD OUT ! maybe Kawada will do another small run of these kits,i will keep you informed. The option parts are available to convert older m300's to the limited 2 version.Kawada pre-sold most limited 2 kits at the Shizouka hobby show a couple of months back. This and the Sigma are hot seller's and sell out fast!New alloy rear hubs for the Sigma coming soon.
Sigma,m300 and Alcyon owners please start posting on this thread!!I know your out there!!
Also looking for opinion's on all Kawada motor's, specially the 23t motors!

Nothing much changed... looks almost identical to the first one... unless there's a turbo nitro hidden in there somewhere...

Default Kawada Sigma2 differences?

The changes on the Sigma 2 over the current car ,that i can tell are :
new front and rear susp. arms(slight redesign ??)
new front and rear hub carrier's that will use smaller bearing's
new steering arms(knuckles)
new front and rear shock towers (slight redesign)
front and rear upper tie-rods mount to the shock towers instead
of the bulkheads
front and rear sway bars mount from the front and rear of the
chassie instead of off the top plate

there maybe other changes annouced as more details come but that what i can see for now!
Kawada must think these changes will make a already great chassie even better!!

Also the motor can be moved forward via flipping the upper deck over and moving the motor mount up about 5mm

Dave
That's cool !but i wonder if being able to move the motor 5mm forward is going to make a big change?

Dave ,have you seen any of the Sigma2 prototype's run yet in Japan? and if so, how did it go?
