Default Car help/new racer

Hey guys! I am a new R/C racer, and I need help looking for a good, reasonable, starting car. I currently have my mind set on getting the, Impreza WRX Sprint 2 HPI RTR car.

I am planning on doing on-road practicing and sometimes racing at my local track...so I'm not sure if its going to be fast enough or anything.

I need some suggestions, thanks a lot!

Best advice is to go to your local track and see what the guys are running there. Whatever car you get you will need help to get the best from it, so if you choose a car which a few of the locals are running, they will be able to help.

You may also be able to pick up a good 2nd hard car for the price of the rtr...

The Sprint 2 has a few flaws in it if you really want to get into racing. These arte you are only limited to stick packs and the way the battery is put into the car is dodgey and falls out if your not careful. If I were you, Id put the money into a rtr of rctech for sale forum, im sure you could pick up a great deal there. Cheers

I started tc racing with the first version of the sprint, and that thing was a brick. My biggest complaint about it was that none of the parts seem to fit right, making it hard to set-up and drive. After the sprint I got a xxx-s and it was soooo much better. Plus it's a more popular car so there's usually alot of setup advice available.
