Default Corally C4.1 Andy Griffiths

I am looking at purchasing an On-Road Electric vehicle and I am considering a Corally C4.1 Andy Giffiths Special Edition. It includes all the electrics except radio, and a lot of upgrades and extra parts. He wants $250, is it fair?

First of all I don't believe a C4.1 Andy Griffiths was ever made, so it's either a C4.1 or a C4AG. I've seen C4.1's go for as little as $100 on this board and I bought my C4AG from here for $125(I probably paid too much). It kind of depends on the electronics and the state of the car. What electronics are with it?/what condition?

The condition is good, it looks like he takes good care of it. It comes with 1 set of batteries, Novak ESC, Novak receiver, 4 motors (both stock and mod), servos and a lot of extra hop-ups and parts. I am going to drive it Thursday night and should know more. Might be high at $250? How does it compare to a TC3 or XXXS? I have been tracking those on EBAY for around $175 & up for comparable condition and parts.

Andy Griffiths = AG

I've been running it for about a year and I'm very happy with it. Diff maintance time is high compared to alot of the other cars on the market but that is minimal in the sceem of things. It dam tough, I changed the rear pins to Xray pins because the corally ones bend too easily and I snapped a turnbuckle last weekend but that's the damage report after a year of running it. It isn't hard to tune(but it favors harder springs in the rear) the adjustable shocks do wonders for it. Very nice car.

The C4 is getting on in years but it is still a good car. But the Tc3(also getting on in years) and the XXX-s will have better support in the US.

It all comes do to what your looking for.

I think the bottom has fallen out of the market for the Corally C4 since they announced the Assasin....you can get some really good deals!

What is a good price with all the electronics?

Should I be looking at something else?

dtm - Dam.

bashbrook - You know what, it would probably be easier for you if you just bought a TC3 or a XXX-S. You'd have a hell of alot of help from these forums, if you needed help. Since the C4 is older nearly no-one runs it setup is found via testing not asking others which takes time away from practice.

Go over to the Corally Manufacturer forum and talk to Jeff Antle. He can point you in the right direction. The C4 is a good car, but the new Assassin os going to be awesome....
