Well if your buying new batts anyway skip anything below a 3800.

If your getting 20-30minutes with those 2 packs you own now i can only assume your running a silver can 540 motor? OR your geared really low. Eitherway your not having run time issues.

So expect the same run time and more with more power running 3800,4200+++ Look for something in your price range in a nihm pack betweem 3800 and up. Look for cells by GP(goldpeak)-very reliable, IB(intelect)-powerfull but delicate, EP(EAST POWER)-powerfull,reliable.

hi Joe..

many thanks for ur reply..

how true u are.. yup im using stock motor and stock gear.

so if im using sport tuned motor for example.. does that mean my batts runtime will become shorter?

Will have look around with ur recommended batts.

TIA

YEs a hotter motor with less turns will run more power and lower run times. It just depends on how fast u want to go. I can tell your a tamiya guy but skip the tamiya brand motors they are expecive for what you get. A nice tuned 27turn motor such as the CO27 will give you plenty more speed without using much more run time or stressing your stock ESC
