What capacity cells do you have? Are they ni-cad or Ni-Mh?

What sort of charger do you have now?

Get the Integy 16x4 prov2.5. It can charge any capacity of battary pack, nicd or nimh. It can also charge up to 15 cells all the way down to 1 cell. I believe the charge rate can be .5 -6.5 or something like that. I have the 16x3 prov2.5 and it's a great charger. They are basically the same so I could help you out with any questions. The only thing I really don't like about it is how bad the instructions are. But if you do get that charger just ask on this thread about it and I will help you out. Integy also has a pretty good tech help thing too that I use. Go to www.integy.com for more information about them. You can purchase directly from them too. Hope this helps.

What's the difference between the 16x3-Prov2.5 and the Duratrax Intellipeak Digital Pulse Charger (www.duratrax.com)?

It looks like the same case and everything

The 16x3 proV2.5 can charge your transmitter. I also don't like Duratrax products very much, but that's just me.

Integy ones are more reliable. I had a 16X2-Pro for 3 years and I sold it to my friend, then I got a 16X5. Great chargers.

45minutes to charge 7cells is not that slow. Especially if they are 3000's or above. Any faster means higher charge rates and depending on the cells you may be charging near the sensible limit as it is.
So it would be very helpful if you told us what cells you are charging and what charger you have. Your money may be better spent on another set of cells.
