Xenon Perfect Pitch Pinions - 48P Metric?? Works for Mini??
I'm looking for alternate pinion gears for my M-03 and M-04 other than the weak Tamiya types, and it was suggested I purchase the Xenon Perfect Pitch ones.. are they metric .6, or the standard 48P?
Part number is Xenon P48-0021 for 21T, 0020 for 20T, etc...
Just want to know before I pull the trigger and buy them..
Thanks!

"48 pitch" and "metric" should bever be mentioned in the same sentence, ever. It just causes confusion. There is no relation whatsoever between the two pitches.
Judging by the part numbers, they will be a true 48dp imperial pinion. I don't know whether Xenon make a 0.6 pinion or not.

Robinson = best alternative to a flouride coated Tamiya F201 pinion. Problem with the flouride coated pinions is that the setscrew area stretches and evcentually the threads strip out- maybe 20 runs worth.

RW Racing make nice hard steel 0.6mod pinions too.
