Now why would you let a little fact like that get in the way ?

You mean nobody has a satellite laptop connection fast enough ?

I demand my "free of charge" luxury web connection rights...
...without paying anything for them of course, that's why it's free !!!

bummer

Hey guys (and Goetz),

Won't be able to make the Halloween race (660 mile drive), BUT from the club race this past Saturday I know I'm going to regret not being able to go. The carpet is some of the best I've seen, there is tons of pit room, tv's, great scoring system and some of the best best guys (and Goetz) to race with.
Also, big thanks to all the guys from Beaver Pa. Great to run with and although H.Rob did some things that I 'believe' are illegal in most states, I had a great time.
Hope you guys (and Goetz) have a great time,

thanks again,

I'm just amazed that someone used the words "Beaver", "H-Rob", and "Goetz" in the same paragraph. Trying to remember back to my childhood.. How does that song on Sesame Street go? One of these things is not like the others....

Although, Bert and Ernie would fit in at the Gayte!

It appears Grover and Elmo would fit in as well.

How is your pro shop? Are there going to be parts and hardware available on site? I drive a Losi and was curious if I should stock up on a bunch of extras. I have plenty of extras as it is, it's the obscure stuff I worry about.

If you consider it "obscure", I would bring it along with you. The shop is well stocked with the most-commonly used/broken parts. With so many different cars to cover (Losi, Associated, Corally, X-Ray), it's tough to have absolutely everything for each.

John from the shop is very good of making sure all of the often used parts and supplies are stocked.

Cool. That means I probably won't break anything all weekend.
Thanks for the quick reply.

They may be another big event in the springtime, so keep your eyes open for that.

The events are normally 2-3 days.

As for hotels, there's a couple nearby (Holiday Inn Express and Red Rock), and some of us stay over in Independence at the La Quinta, Red Roof, or Holiday Inn.
