The Halloween Classic was once again another race that is just "fun". I would also like to thank the crew at the Gate for making the race enjoyable. The fast catís crew showed up and helped great job guys. Scotty Ernst attended the race in the competitorís seat instead of the announcer, amazing. I was truly surprised but Scotty couldn't resist and had to call some mains! Congrats to the winners and hope I didn't get anyone sick. Let me tell you how flying home with a cold isn't very fun. See you all at the Indoor champs.

OH yeah, and after seeing pics from the pre worlds in Charlotte, I am glad I drove 8 hrs to race rather than running a worlds warm up 15 mins from my house .

Would liked to have raced my 19 race after BQ'ing but 8 hrs home and working the next day made it hard to stay after my travel mates were finished with there main in stock class. The 4th round is nice to have, but to stay for all mains makes it hard with a long drive home when the mains dont start until around 1:30.

It was cool to see alot of you pro guys smiling, joking around and having what looked to be a good time. At most of the other races everyone looks more serious and not as approchable, sure the races have more at stake and there's alot riding on them, but it's cool to see. It was noticed with other drivers this weekend as well, and even some of us commented that it almost looks as if you guys "weren't at work" this weekend. Hopefully that same spirit and approachability can carry over to more races.

Just unpacked the truck after getting home about 2.30AM. Congrats to all the winners. Thanks to the GAYte crew, Fastcats crew and all others involved for their awesome job as usual. Thanks to scotty for calling some races as well and it was good to see him having a great time with his daughter and racing again!

A big congrats to Jim Herrmann for finally pulling out a W....I think the next one will come faster now.

Also to the P.O.S that swapped my good tire truer for your blowed up P.O.S....Your are total scum of the earth and it will catch up with you sooner or later.....and you just better hope its fate that catches you and not me

that video game looking black box from Fastcats is just awesome. The thing saves all the runs, remembers all the laps, and instantly spits out little summary printouts on demand at the touch of the screen. That thing is unbelieveable!!! One of these days I gotta find a chance to get up to Fastcats to see what other tricks they've got up their sleeve.

Speaking of awesome, once again this year's halloween event was killer. What a great crew and a terriffic place to race. It's such a fun crowd but with plenty of talent and speed to go along with the enjoyment. Can't wait until next year. Thanks to the dedicated Gate crew. We'll see most of you guys just up the road at the Indoor Champs. Thanks again. U guys are the best.

Hey Ian,

Yea but mine was the older style Hudy without the adjustable return and it has a big dent in the top of case from the trip home from vegas...pretty obvious. The one they left me is at least the new style They were also nice enough to put my 12th scale arbor on it for me!!

Congrats to The Gate crew for another great event. It's definatly one of the most fun and interesting places to race at!! Hopefully we will be back there in March!!

I also have to give a big congrats to Mr. Herrmann for the TQ and win in 1/12 stock!! The monkey wasn't just off his back, it was then kicked right in the head from watching the driving effort in the Stock TC and 19T TC mains!! Definatly impressive and I think EA is right about more wins coming much quicker than this first one has come!!

On the CEFX side of things, I am super happy. With Jim's TQ that makes 5 TQ's in 1/12 stock over the last 6 carpet races (Cleveland, Nats, Stock Invite, Vegas, Halloween Classic). While the mains haven't always gone as well, we still have 3 wins over those 6 races. I don't think anyone realizes that while we don't have the majority of cars at the track, consitantly we have the fastest cars so I really want to thank the group of guys we have racing CEFX for the support and awesome job at the races!!

Congrats to Mr. Blackstock for bringing home the first win for the Phoenix. We messed up qualifying a bit and I still had my car all messed up in the main but it was great to see Mike start from fourth and get the lead 2 minutes in and check out from the pack. Mike set the fastest lap in 1/12 Mod also with a 9.6!!

See everyone at Cleveland!! I know I am looking forward to it!!
