I had a great time as well, hats off to the gate crew keeping this race and this great facility running, The Gate and the Halloween Classic continues to be one of the pillars of carpet racing in the US.

Congrats to all the winners, especially to those that support the gate regularly.

I'd also like to thank CRC for hooking me up with the Gen-x, what an awesome car. I had not driven a link car in about 5 years, the Gen-x was truly impessive on it's first weekend out. I'd also like to thank Chicky and Parma for all the setup help and great tires.

Congratulations to all the winners, especially to Mo for his TQ and Win on BSR Tires with Jaco’s new Prizm wheel. Most all of my racers are very happy with the new wheel after learning how to properly use them.

Big Thanks to the Gate crew. Always a good time up there. You guys were also most impressive on the track.

HUGE THANK YOU TO ELI EZROW for letting my run his old car. My weekend may have came to an end without him.

Mo Diesel laid it down................ Thanks for the 19 turn Mo Money! Finally had a little rip in the main.

Can you elaborate on this statement. How do you "properly use them"

On the heat listings I saw a good number of 2.4Ghz listed...

Can anyone give input if people were using Spektrum or FAAST systems?

Tire size, compound, and set up. The bigger wheel changes the car a little and the wheel has quite a bit of flex.

Hi gang,

Just a quick thanks to all the Gate crew for what appears to be another "Classic". I personally have not missed many of these events over the years, although I was not able to be there this year. I kept up with the event through RC Tech and my man, Nashrcracer. Excellent layout, looks like all had a good time, great job to all those in race management.

A quick congratulations to all the drivers and a special thanks to the vast amount of racers supporting CRC products. We had a very successful weekend with many drivers picking up Gen X cars and Pro Cut tires just days before the race and still having great results. CRC Gen-X cars and CRC Pro-Cut tires were T.Q. in both 1:12th Modified and 19 turn.

Congratulations to the Grand Rapids CRC crew, led by James Brink who was a dominant T.Q. in 19 turn with the ONLY 48 lap run. In fact, Brink's 19 turn run would have put him 7th in modified! CRC cars qualified 1 - 5 in 19 turn and finished 1 - 4. Aaron Buran took the win in 19 turn, receiving his car only a few days before the event. Great Job Aaron!

Jeff Dayger used a CRC Gen-X and Pro Cut tires to T.Q. the 1:12th modified division in grand style. Jeff went on to finish 3rd after leading much of the A-main. Making an all CRC front row in 1:12th modified was Parma's Paul Ciccarello. Paul put his Gen-X in the 2nd qualifying position in front of a very talented field at the event.

A Classic great event over many, many years and many different venues. Thanks for keeping it going. I won't miss it next year!

The fastcats scoring print booth was da BOMB. The thermal printer with small printout made it easy for tracking progress or digress of your car without tons of paper or searching for the latest printout. It was what I thought was the coolest thing of the race. I like the last function where it shows you how many of each lap time you did.

It's cool to see technology making races more user friendly rather than just making cars go faster. I think DSM, PT's and upgrades to scoring software are the three best things to happen to R/C in a long time.
