No, that's an emergency car starter/charger, I doubt the 12v supply is rated for many amps, also it won't be a smooth supply.

So, I assumed you do not have an access to AC power. Am I correct?

Is this power pack you are talking about a self contain 12VDC Battery? If that the case, I don't really understand what Sosidge is talking about "it's won't be a smooth supply".

If the Battery doesn't have a smooth DC output I don't know what else will. Not even a $21,000 switching power supply that I am using in my office as smooth as Battery.

The bottom line is, if the power pack you are talking about contain 12VDC battery and have a direct output from Battery.. Go for it.

you ae correct, i do not have access to AC power. Im not to sure weather it has a 12v battery but im assuming since is it a "power Pack" that powers 12V accessories (cooler, fan etc. it must have that power on board

Let me know

Okay, now...I am pretty sure the unit you are talking about is a self contain BATTERY.

For you to charging your R/C packs? Should be just fine. I would say you will be able to charge your packs ummmmm maybe 10 packs @ 4.5 -5 amps before the voltage starting to drop.

That is depens on what the size of the battery that is installed in that power pack. I can not calulate how many packs per day you can charge with this power pack..

Unless I know the size of the battery that was in it.

Okay, I see that now.. Sure, I have seen many people using the same type of power pack..

It a self contain 12VDC battery.

Like I said I won't be able to tell you how many packs you can charge or how long does gonna last before you needed to charge to 12VDC battery. the unit like this usually come with the wall charger so you can plug them overnight or something.
