Default RS4 Micro Questios on HPI optional Steering link

I just gotmyself a KO Micro Servo and i also got the HPI Servo Saver set and Steering Link/Mount.

I do know to assemble the Servo Saver set and some steering link. But i do notice there are some spares connecting links on the part tree, what are they use for?

THe other question is how do you guys put your Micro servo on the chassis using that plate? I was just thinking of just using the double sided tape between the servo and the chassis. I'm using the stock chassis.

Pictures would be great if you have any.

I'm afraid I don't have any pics of it, but the servo mounts to that purple aluminum plate, & that plate is combined with a plastic wedge & mounted to the chassis with 2 screws. It's a good setup, it really makes it pretty easy to remove without completely disassembling the car(so you can change the servo or do whatever work is needed). As for those extra links, I'm not sure, I don't really remember if I had any extra ones when I installed mine(aside from the servo saver parts that go to different brands of servo)....

try the different grey servo posts (on the tree) to find which one will make fit your sevo on the purple plate .
i used tape to attach the servo on the black support and didn't use the aluminium plate which add to much weight .
