P2K2 setups
Hi, just wondering what brush/spring combo's you are all running. I tried looking for specific answers, but that stock motor thread is ungainly and impossible to navigate.

Before I broke a magnet in my p2k2 can on my p2k2 I had red+, green- springs and reedy 767's that I drilled the face of.

But of course that was the set-up that worked at my track before they changed it. Different tracks like different set ups.

Yup, red and green springs. If you have a lathe, 767 brushes, if not 766. Make sure the brush hoods are aligned, this counts more than anything.

red/green spring putum green/blue brushes that i take o.4 off the following edges

File off 0.4 the trailing edge it works well on most motors, By taking 0.4 off the brush its giving the motor more timing which will give you more rpm

.4 I hope you mean .04" off the brushes. or did you mean .4mm?
This will also reduce your over lap and cut down on current draw. It might make your motor run cooler but might also cost some torque. It will increse RPM if you can use it.
P2K is good with full width brushes for me. It might work for you.
What is the motor in?
