Default 2C Charging of Common Sense RC Packs

After extensive long-term testing, we are pleased to announce that our packs can be charged at 2C without any significant impact on cycle life. The only requirement is that a parallel charger or in-line balancer must be used, as the higher charge rate will magnify the effects of any imbalance in the pack. Use of a parallel charger or in-line balancer will eliminate these effects, and keep them from damaging your pack.

What chargers will allow the 2C charge rate? i have an ice that will only allow 1C. Someone once posted a way to kinda cheat the ice by doubling the capacity then reducing the charge % in half, or something like that, but doesnt sound too safe IMHO.

The updated ICE (Checkpoint) allows you to set charge amperage independently of the capacity, up to 2C I believe.

I don't want to naysay CSRC here, but anybody considering 2C charging should read Jon Stranahan's TC5 thread. It's becoming very clear that 2C charging greatly reduces cycle life of even the best cells, in spite of claims to the contrary. It could also lead to crystallization in some cells that may eventually cause failure/fire.
