Default mamba

I have had three 18th cars, rc18t (favorite), the HPI Micro RS4, and the Mini-Baja (Losi). I have had mambas in all of them and never failed to impress people with the power and speed. I also run 2 or 3 cell lipo packs. Usually 2, three tends to break components.
to days ago I entered my RC 18 T in a race and got beat SOO BAD by Turbo Bob with a 2 year old stock 18T!!! The track was slick and I kept spinning out. Too much power. I did pass Bob over and again on the straight but lost miserably. Film can be seen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CVZPe5__7I. I launch it at the end of the vid out of frustration with the car. the body was rubbing wheels too.
Now I have the castle link device and can turn down the motor some. I think next week will be better!
