I've tried the MC800... it's was fried after 2 days of practice.
The Futaba MC600 or MC800 are identical to the LRP Quantum series. MC600 is the same as the Quantum Pro-Sport and the MC800 is the same as the Quantum Compitition which is the same as the Nostrom Dominitor.

I've got the Novak GT7 right now...It's one of the best ESC I've ever used.

I would go for 800mc. The quality is lot better than other. I'm thinking about selling my quantum competition and get another 800mc. Ko is also a very good esc, but do you know how to program the frequency? That is the problem.

the Competition and MC800 are the same... Futaba buys from LRP and get a different case.
KO is good but you'll need a handheld unit to program it.
better to get one with built in Profiles...

BTW... if you're in the US..it's better to get the LRP vs the Fut.
LRP has the Lifetime warrentee and Futaba has only 1 year.

One word...... "Keyence"

I've had mine for coming on two years, no hick-ups, lots of abuse and it's still in "like new" condition.

High price, High quality, can't be beat.

I know they are the same, but overall qualities like use of wires, switch, and case. Futaba is better.
