try to put o-rings inside the cap and see if its moving and add until it has only a small amount of play.

Hi nikkiesteban,
thanks for a quick reply, I got the idea but, what is o-rings is that included in the package of tt-01,
or can I replace o-rings with plastic coming from the exta parts of tt-01?
sorry for asking such a stupid question, but I realy dont have an idea, thanks!

you can also buy some o-rings at the nearest hobby shop.
don't try the plastic as a spacer because it might scrape your aluminum center shaft and it might chatter. it will be better if you can find rubber o-rings.
this is what o-rings look like

My TT-01 goes haywire whenever it gets either to a certain distance away from me or goes too fast or is just completely random. (not sure which but i think its the too far away one) By haywire I mean I have absolutely no control over it for about 2 secs but in this time it accelerates to full speed and does random turns usually resulting in a massive stack. I have changed my transmitter and receiver and crystals and batteries (in car and transmitter) and that has not worked. What is the problem? Please help going racing soon.

i have had this same problem as u. however, this problem happened on my ta05. its not ur transmitter but ur motor. ur sport tuned might have been too used. get a new motor. (it doesnt cost much for a sports tuned). after gtting a new motor, if this still happens, its ur esc. cause u have already change ur tx and rx already.

Looks to me like you would use the blue holes if you are running a 25t pinion and a 55 tooth spur. At least going from the picture supplied.

I dont know of the red dot you are referring to. Download the tt01d or r manual from tamiya. There is a gear chart with motor positions.
