Default Power Supply suggestions?

Looking to get a power supply. Got any suggestions? Would like to get something that can handle 2 chargers and is small.

Any and all info would be appreciated. Pros and Cons for power supplies.

You just can't go wrong with this 25 amp unit from Radio Shack http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...entPage=search

I have had a 30 amp Rivergate since some time in '02. It is still going strong. It's a bit large, but I love it.

The Competition Electronics and Radio Shack 25amp power supplies are the same thing with different stickers and price tags.

Pro-peak 20 amp ($60): http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/158301.asp

My personal opinion is power supplies are a good item to buy used. You can get them for about half price of what they cost new and they work forever. I've had the same 30 amp Rivergate unit since 1997 and I bought it used.

i know something that will give 700 amps.... its called a car battery! or 2 1/2 hours at 20amps... (don't let me go into car batteries) although they're a bit tricky to carry.

I just bought a 30amp power supply from a alarm/security wholesaler for the equivalent of $60.
Its a bit bulkier than the MM etc.. but its 1/4 to 1/3 the price of those mentioned locally.

I do think a 20amp is more than enough though to run 2 chargers and a few other aitems.

Has anyone bought a power supply from kitsusa? Check out the link below. It directs you to a 20 amp supply.

http://www.kitsusa.net/phpstore/html...r-13.8VDC.html

I am currently in the market for regulated power supply. Suggestions would be great. I really don't want to order this thing online. If anyone knows local stores, or store types that would carry power supplies please post. Seems like radioshack is a rip for what they charge and what your getting.

LRP 14 amp or Muchmore 24 Amp.

they both work great and bling bling

the muchmore 24 amp you need to turn the fan to blow outwards and its not a true 24amp power supply
