Default cell shrink wrap repair?

hey all
im a bit of a budget racer and i have a pair of ep4200 packs that some of the shrink wrap has been scratched off by rocks and scrapping. so my question is, is there away to protect my cells from shorting out when u have scratches through to the cell metal case? apart from the plastic single cell shrink wrap as that brittle and tends to crack quickly?
cheers, josh

i wraped my cell in eletrical tape but you can buy band new shrink wrap big enough for your bats at the local hobby shop, harware, auto shop or even electrical distributor.

If my packs' shrink wraps are really in bad shape, I normally disassemble the entire pack and get new shrink wraps on them then re-assemble again.

For quick fixes on one or two cells, and a budget approach as well, I found using good quality clear packaging tape cut to size to work well enough for me. They hold up about 3 race days and are easy enough to replace from time to time.
