Default Grepow 4200

Guy does anyone have experience with these batteries. I have run speedzone before seemed to be very good batteries. Is Grepow racing grade battery?

Yes, supposedly they make the EP cell. They are Roar/IFMAR legal and run great.

There is also the Grepow4500 to consider, but I have no experience or knowledge of them.

Logic would say they should give out a little more punch and runtime?

the Grepow is a different brand to the East Power batteries.
They have a 4200/4300/4500 the 4200 is there high voltage cells.

Hi Tire Chunker

this is a quote from a very well respected 12th racer in the UK,

On testing they are about 0.1V down on an average set of IBs based on a 5 min average at 20A discharge over a 4 cell pack (done on a ProTrack). I get around the same runtime as IB.

I ran one set in the Mod final. These were charged on the sat and repeaked for the Sun final and lobbed into the car so less than ideal charging situation and they were fantastically fast in the final.

For modified with a 5.5 sintered I have all the HP I am ever going to need and I think the small differences in voltage are pointless at my level.

19T may be different however and I will take any advantage I can get so its IBs for me.

Time will tell as to how strong the Pinks will be.
.

basically if you are running mod brushless then i would buy some and run them, but if your running 19 or 27 i would stick with IB's

Thats true, I have just recieved a batch of packs made up from the new improved IB cells and they looking very good.
Also the new EP M3 cells might just give the IB cells a run on performance.

I run brushed mod 12th (soon to be brushless) and the Grepow's that I have tried run fantastic!!! They are really slow self discharging cells so they should really last. Check out Speedzone Batteries on this thread and try to hunt down Gavin Creedo (owner) for more details.

Have you tried the new EP M3 cells? Is there a noticeable improvement?
