NO! HPI firm bladders are included in the kit. Rayspeed bladders may fit as well and available in soft, med, and hard compounds to suit your track conditions.

@Mr_Orange: bladders are like shock-oil nowadays, just needed for fine-tuning. And who runs the kits shock oil...

His car was actually really stock as far as I could see, only that purple clamp on heatsink and a delrin diff (don't know why this was needed tough) were options!

did any one have problems installing it?

i have tried installed the stock plastic pegs on to the graphite brace. and when trying to install the pegs on to the lower bumper frame, it does not align properly. my pegs are slightly bent.

anything we can do to fix this?

any help would be appreciated.

Default CHASSIS FLEX

can you guys say..."Flexy flier II"
j/k
with the concern of the 2.5mm chassis thickness...I'll have to say the chassis is rock solid! Virtually no lateral flex at all.

I'll have pics of the chassis with all the electronics installed this weekend.

so far this is the option parts I've used:
HB60116 Shock Shaft L (2 pks)
HB60106 60mm alum. body mounts or
HB60107 65mm
HB61131 Nitro 3 graphite bumber support
HPI72422 Aluminum spring perch
#10732 Ofna purple aluminum servo arm.
T3844P Eagle racing purple motor heatsink
Trinity shock mounts (no longer in production)
Alex Racing Ti screws. (left overs from my 'Cuda)

Electronics:
Futaba S9550 Digital low profile servo. Since there is plenty of room may switch to the faster S9541
HB Hara Twister Esc. (KO VSF-2000)
Futaba 3PK HRS system

the car doesn't really need any option parts...the car is great out of the box.

Default HUDY BALANCING TOOL

The bottom of the Pro4 chassis has 2 very small holes to fine tune the balance of the car. The Hudy balance tools works just fine... #10880

rc-zombies,

have you tried placing Xrays balancing weights on the car? just wondering if they would fit.

I have the long center weights...but only can use 1 of the 2 mounting holes...I thing HPI will be releasing a weight set for car..not for sure though... but it would be great if they did.

Does anyone have a starting point for a carpet setup on the car yet?

For carpet racing with rubber tyres I would think this would be a good starting point setup:
