This isn't at jayrodacer.

Why do so many people want to copy the professoinals setups? There's NO way they are going to work for them b/c these people are not professional racers. And even more amusing is when someone wants to use Racer X's setup for their home track. It is a waste of time and money to try and duplicate Racer X setup and apply it to your own driving style. I bet there have been a hundred post on this thread asking about HARA, MOORE, THAD, ect...When will the maddness end. Please folks, don't waste your time copying the pro's because you don't have new tires each run, and 1.20 cells, and 7x1 motors, and prototype speedos, and prototype drivetrains.

My Pro 4 came with 4 sets of the black springs with the colored ends and the silver, black and gold swaybars in the box. Is this what the version 1.1 normally comes with?

My ver 1.1 came with gold and silver spring and both black color sway bar.

I thought this is standard package, isn't it?

Thats what I thought. But I got these extra parts, and they are not mentioned in the instructions at any point.

Maybe it was an offer package or he bought it second hand. There have been some wierd packages like the Summer Campaign version in Japan.

Hmmmm perhaps I got an unusual version. It is new however.

Don't worry, I think he did get a Brand New Kit.
I think I read before somewhere (in this thread I think). That some new kits comes with the new springs and all 3 anti roll bars.

Ahhh I am an idiot. Right on the front of the box is a sticker saying 2004 edition. It then lists the parts that I mentioned to you guys.

where did you order the kit from?

I just got my pro4 from tower 2-3 weeks ago, and it didnt even include the 1.1 gears....

(i even emailed them before ordering and they assured me it would be the 1.1 version)

I got mine from my LHS. Seems to be a Japanese version of the kit and it has all the v1.1 gear in it. It also came with the 0, 2, 4, and 6 degree caster blocks. Is this normal?

The 1.1 version would come with a sticker on the box stated ver 1.1.

No sticker means old version

Default HELP on PRO4 Set-up

Was looking at the set-up of Hara and some other guys and was puzzled on the formula for pro-squat/anti-dive for the rear and anti-dive/kick-up for the front using the bulk spacers. Anyone knows the formula here?

I noticed that having the same spacer thickness in the F/R and front toe-in blocks will result to 0 deg anti-dive/kick-up. I saw a set-up sheet that had a thicker spacer in the F/R compared to the front toe-in block spacer and this resulted in -0.8 anti-dive.

Can anyone educate me on how you compute? Thanks.
