Is the Andy Kraemer setup on the HPI USA website for carpet? Sure looks like a carpet setup.
Doug Gaut: yes it was from the lrp masters

Chris, thanks. Hey, if you guys get some dialed setups over there can you share some of the info with us? So far I have not needed to deviate far from the stock setup at all for the concrete tracks I race on but any info on what others are doing for setups are nice to look at and keep notes on for future reference.

Doug - yes, Andy's setup is from the LRP TCM, it was spec tires on carpet. Not sure what type of carpet, Erik would know better than I.

I replaced the ESC last night-and although I didnt hit a track with it-the motor sounds altogether different w/ this speed control-so maybe I found a few tenths there.

Thanks Frank, you da man!!!

Ray, I am glad to hear you potentially found your problem. We can only hope for the best. Get that car a rockin!

I can say that the car is working fantastic at my local track. As a matter of fact I heard I will be having company this weekend in HPI car count. Gotta love that.

I sure hope so!! If the two fastest guys locally turn a 13.2 and 13.3-then I hsould be 13.5 to 13.6-but consistent. I am not a one lap fast guy. The ESC is on its way back to be checked or replaced-so its all good. Sorry to make such a drama about all this-I am just mad/miffed/annoyed right now!!!

Default Ray, Speedo Problem

Ray all I can say is KO PROPO! Not to mention the Hara twister looks awfully cool in the car. Just a little more purple!
