Hey bxpitbull.....I see I Didin`t miss much......(My computer was/is down).

I`ve Raced/Ran My Pro 4(with a 10-Turn Reedy Ti Worlds Edition Motor) once this year with.....it runs well.
-Remember I`ve had a regular Pro 4 at first; but I`ve installed most of the Hara Parts on it.....so now it`s More of a Hara Pro 4.....Ha Ha!

It still better to drive over My Evo 5; but I`ll really know that when I use a 10-Turn Motor in MY Evo 5(if the Gears can handle 10-Turn power?).

Take Care

Hey Guy. I now run the Cyclone. I have my Pro4 and am awaiting word from you on the track out in Brooklyn. I will run the Pro4 in the 19T (10.5 brushless) class. Hot motors strip to many gears in the rear diff case for me.

setup is critical with rubber tyres as they can be very temperamantal. foams offer more grip in our type of racing and they are easier to set the car up with, you just have to check the wear patterns and rates and obviously alter your gearing as the tyres wear down.

maybe start with rubbers and see how it goes from there for you??

I dont think you really need to do anything to make the pro 4 faster. You probably want to look more at car setup than buying hop ups.

Spring options, toe blocks and good tires....

the 2005 edition had:
- upgraded shocks
- 2.25mm upper deck and 2.00mm main chassis
- upgraded motor mount
- aluminium camber link mounts
- aluminium bevel gear shafts (front/rear)
- aluminium servo mounts
- delrin diff outdrives

and the 1.1 gears, but the regular pro4 also got these eventually

Also, the upperdeck was narrower. My box included a spool, delrin and carbon fiber outdrives. Several different toe blocks.

They are but, when it comes to the hotter motors, set-ups are critical. Straight line launches are great, but belted cars are more forgiving into and out of turns for the higher winds. But if you are on a big open tracks with wide sweepers, it wont really matter. Adjust your droop on one side of the vehicle to conquer minor torque steer and you'll be fine.

I'm trying to help out a friend with a Pro 4 and need some info on the Pro 4 shock pistons. The pistons a grey in colour and are numbered 1 to 5, some with two holes, other with 3 holes.

Can anyone tell me what size holes are in what numbered piston?

Many thanks....

Default pro4

Hey you guys! I have been running a hara pro 4 with a 540 19T element V2 engine. Also I have an lrp speed control ans spektrum radio. The car runs beautiful. I run it with the 64P 98T spur and a 40T pinion. The temp goes up to around 150 degrees. I still don't know with electrics what a good temp is, but the car has been running great since Christmas, so I guess the set up is good.
check out some pics.

150 Fahrenheit sounds about right, it's best not to let it get any hotter than that though.
