There are countless factors that influence the decision to award a race. I think you have lost the fact that, this about RACING first.

After the race is in the books, RACERS remember the track and competition, the rest follows. Believe it or not we want people to attend the Nationals. The location is a big influence, and each area of the country offers different things to go and see. Just because it is not a big theme park, casino or the beach, does not mean it is not a good destination.

There are a lot of things for a family to see and do.. At any of the locations that bid for races this year. Maybe take couple of minutes and serach the internet to see what an area has to offer. I took 1 minute and found something for me...

Ditto - Very well stated Matt~!

Thanks ROAR for giving the MidWest an opportunity show that we love racing. I personally believe everyone who attends Nats will have a great time, both racing and outside of racing. Congrats to Omaha for getting the Nats - way to go guys - I know each of you worked hard for several years to get a National event. Don't worry about the negativity and

Nicely put. The last on-road nationals in Florida (2000).Last time I was at Arkansas was driving thru going to Tulsa for the first 1/10th pan car electric nationals in 1987.It was great staying in the same hotel as the Oral Roberts convention was held in.Also had the big Black Limo check us out. Those complaining about Alabama there was a great on-road electric nationals in Birmingham ,1988 I believe. As I'm a Gator the old Huskers will probably score another Touchdown If I went there. I won't even wear the sweatshirt to this day.Just be happy there are National to go to! Go have some fun when you get there.Oh when you go to Minregg for the carpet oval the family can go to Bush Gardens and the others can go down Dale Mabry.

This is the entire schedule with confirmed dates from each host track. The dates have been verified by email and/or telephone and just finished about one hour ago.
