As a ROAR member and a person who lives in Maryland, my question for you is what were the reasons why the Frederick track did not get the race? Or better yet, what could we do to improve our chances of getting the race?

Default The dates.

As previously stated the dates are being worked out and will be officialy announce soon. Im sure that the dates selected will be in the best interest of the majority.

On a side note though, October brings beautiful 75 - 80 degree weather conditions.

No, really can't. Each track presented an excellent bid with amenities that are worthy of a ROAR nationals. Its a difficult decision to choose one of four fantastic tracks.

Its been a wrenching decision as I'm sure you can tell due to the time it took to get this done.

Congratulations to ALL 2008 ROAR National tracks....

Funny how the two electric onroad races are in the middle of freaking nowhere in places that most people have zero desire to travel to. Also funny that the Northeast didn't get a single race.

Well done ROAR, well done.
