If there was ever a region that needed a big race to save it, its this one.
Then maybe you should run for Region ROAR rep....

[QUOTE=TimPotter;3907471]NP... was nice. Also, to those who want to bid in the future ask Froboy to send a copy of thier bid to you, or for that matter, the Stockton guys had a REALLY good bid in 06.[QUOTE]

Tim ...... thanks for the compliment. I worked really hard on that bid because I really wanted the race in '06. If you're a track and you would like a copy to use as a template please contact me at [email protected]

Dave .... if it has to do with the carpet/traction issues, I was told by a reliable source that the carpet would be replaced if necessary.

I'll agree with Tim on the amount of bids. In '06 when I bid there were two bids. Up until last year ROAR has had a real hard time getting tracks to bid. Now that the whole RMT thing is working and tracks are understanding the RMT Nationals Guidlines ROAR has a way more bids for races than ever. ROAR must be doing something right if more tracks are biding.

And I'm not trying to take anything away from the other tracks. I've heard nothing but great things about the plex and would love to check it out sometime. I'm just tired of never having anything big in this region to look forward to. And I know I'm not the only one.

Shaun,
The process works like is.

The Bids are collect then delivered to the committees
The committee debates the bids, and makes a suggesiton to the EXCOM.
The EXCOM considers our suggestions, and awards the nationals.

Now, if the EXCOM decides that the bid we recommend is , for some reason not appropriate, then they can take the next suggestion and on down the line.

So that being said, All the tracks are in the running still, I just mentioned the top three vote getters from our committee.

We delivered the suggestions, with some relevant reasons for the decisions

It's not hard to beat Matt, I've done it a few times...

He did breakout those times I beat him, but I still beat him.

If STLNLST can beat him it can't be that hard...

Matt you going to come back and visit us at SWR??
