Xray drivers cant run 1/12th if they arent "Paid" by the 12th manufacturer. This was the reason I heard that Barry didnt run.... and also the rumor on why Drew switched from CEFX to a Corally for the champs. Corally agreed to pay him to race.

Most of the Corally drivers switched because of contractual obligations. Why else would you switch from a car if you just spanked everyone in Vegas with it?

Dumas is running the new car. He ran the old front end on his rev 5 for 2 qualifiers in Cleveland. All drivers who Ive talked with like and prefer the new front end.

Drivers:
Dumas
Mock
Ray Derrick
Easton
TJ Bradley
Pritchard
Donnie Lia
Mark Strasnick
Jarrod Langlois
Andrew Grey
Johnny Carrey
And a few other "cost" or "VIP" guys.

Customer service, is has it has always been. Cars and parts go out when they are complete. if you have a question, you should post it here. This isn't Bruces main business... and he's a family man now. If your patient, and can wait.. you'll have a nice 1/12th car. If not, then there are plently of 12L/ Rev 4 copy's out there to choose from.

Do you have an issue you need addressed, or are you just stirring the waters?

I don't blame you for wanting some decent customer service before plunking down 200 beans. For me, I am glad I stayed clear of this deal, when the top guys bail on some of the so-called "features" of the new car, you know there must be issues.

From all accounts Bruce is doing well and the twins are happily turning soft food into stinky diapers.......

For people who are waiting for their orders to come in, be patient. Bruce doesn't use 'mass production techniques' (ie. it's made here in the U.S.) and each one gets a lot of 'personal time' via the Carboni Care system: slow cut, high end gear.

Rev 5 is dyno-mite and the Rev 4.5 still dominates. Just remember it's not some cookie cutter 1/12 you are ordering.

Just had to drop a quick post to back up Bruce as I know he's going as fast as he can.

Only 200? I thought the price of the Rev 5 went up after it won Vegas...

using the new front end.

At the Champs, in Mod 1/12th, Dumas and Mock were in the A with their 5's. In the B was Mike Murray was running a 4.5, and myself with my 5 with the old skool front end. I just didn't have time any time with the new front end before the Champs...

No one has bailed on the car. The Rev 5 and the new front end represent alot of hard work and testing on behalf of Speedmerchant. It already is a proven winner, and I plan on running the formula front end on my Corally car. I understand everyone's frustration regarding unreturned voice mails and emails. As a new Dad myself, I can attest to how hard one little one is, let alone two. Hopefully you guys will get your kits soon and enjoy the ride, its well worth the wait!
