Hey, where is everyone? If you go from the inner holes on the front to the middle ones, how does that change the handling? Anyone ever go stiffer than white (.23) on the side springs?

I'll be sure to get you Ray's setup, not Lo Mein Yang's (Low Main Yang's) McGoo.

Hell yeah! .21 side springs are great in 1/12th 1S lipo on carpet.

Um, aren't the .23's stiffer than the .21's?

yup, .23 stands for .23 inches. .21 side springs are dialed on the REV 5L with high roll center cones.

this weekend at the asphalt nats i ended up running a very soft side spring, Associated 12R5 black springs, to help generate more rear traction. unfortunately i was still hunting on the setup fine tuning even through the mains and could only end up with a 4th place.

Nice job, Mike - better luck next time.

Minor correction, when we say 21s or 23s, we are referring to the wire diameter, so a 21 would measure out .021" diameter wire, and 23 would be .023" diameter.
