I believe that the way his on-line shop works is that if the parts are in stock, they will appear on-line. One of the conversations I had with Bruce about a week ago, he was mentioning that the cf that he does get, it gets used for full kits or spares stock for the LHSs that order the parts. If you are really interested in purchasing the Formula front suspension, I'd either e-mail him directly, or call his shop. There may be additional information on his News page.

I did e-mail several times. Timezone differences make calling difficult.

Sweet! Now I can order the front end! But which one to order? I'm running a Darkside Mx2 currently.

Dude,

Im still a little pissed how nice your car turned out. Every time I build a car for somebody, it ends up nicer than mine.

Keep us informed on how the SP Speedo works with the 17.5 especially.

i wouldn't say its not worth the $, bruce has always made nice stuff. if i did go in for the front end i would want to make sure i can get a replacement graphite suspension top plate. i take it that these plates are the parts that are different for each car -- but maybe i'm wrong. i only see a speedmerchant bolt pattern replacement.

does anyone know what the track differences are between the rev5, genX, db12r, sp12X, etc?

bruce makes great stuff. the rev 5 is one of the best cars out there. but what good is it if its unavailable i know bruce is expanding and parts support should be better but i like to know if i need a part i can get itthe front ends are all on the website. one for crc and one for associated. what i meant by not being worth it for the bmi is i dont think it will be any better than the existing front end. i spoke to mike haynes and he said it may even be worse. it works well on the speed merchant but the bmi is a whole different car. i know jason is gonna test the car with the formula front end so i will wait to see if it is positive feedback

i just got an email back from Bruce. he doesn't believe he has a formula front end graphite plate that works for the BMI. i'm going to reach out to Jason and see if he will get me the width and spacings used for the Associated front end.

actually, the center to center for the front arm mount are the same on both chassis, so you should be able to mount the forumula front end on the db12r

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Since you can bolt to old skool frontend onto the Rev 5 there is no reason you can't put the formula frontend on any car that accepts an asociated frontend.

some cars vary in front arm spacing from left to right. Some companies like a more narrow inboard mounting position and some like them wider. If it is not 100% perfect, It will create a tweak in the front of the car. It needs to be spot on in order to work.
