Linear vs Pulsed Discharge

Linear vs Pulsed Discharge
Which is better for today's IB 4200 mah cells, a 30 amp pulsed discharge or a 30 amp linear discharge?
I'm getting back into electric racing for the winter. I have a Victor that can easily do a linear discharge of 30+ amps. Should I use it to discharge the cells and then put them on a tray to equalize them or is it better to put them on a pulsed discharge tray from the start and skip the linear discharge?
If the linear method is still acceptable/recommended, what's the cheapest tray the will equalize the cells to 0.9v per cell?
