Look man, I asked you to let it go eons ago. I never said you mentioned soft casiing or any other facets of importance about their cells. This is really beginning to bore the crap out of me and before another thread gets locked, do like i asked back in post 459...let it go. And just for the record, just because you have been doing something for 20 years doesnt make you an expert...just makes you demented like the rest of us in this hobby

Hard case suggestions:

- Bumps like the orion pack to help keep in the chassis
- Plugs like the orion pack (if they dont have a patent on that)
- Put the plugs on the long side (similar to how a nimh would be) unlike the orion pack

Peace ya sonofabitch. I shouldve known better, I do the same thing when someone challenges a product or products I use and trust.

Isn't it Frank Orion?

I think I misread the first question? But I got the Ernie part right at least.

Someone with the last name Kyosho probably (who might not even speak english so if they did respond you couldnt read it). But as pointed out Rick and MrBlack with Orion were on here all the time answering questions. Im sure once Reedy comes out with a Lipo Rick will be back at it.

Great suggestions. The bullet connector is nice because it allows fans of ALL plug formats to easily adapt, and those who already use bullet plugs to plug right in. I'm all for a universal—or at least widely accepted—system.

I'm sure once we have our hard case that some will like it and others will have to say that it should be different bottom line is that we need to come up with a design that will fit most cars. We have a few good ideas and we will see what we can come up with. As far as connectors we will most likely offer it with the Traxxas connector as it will surely be taking over the market plus it can handle 12 gauge wire.

I'm not saying it's necessary...but will you be offering hard packs that weigh close to a NiMH (400grams)? I heard Orion was considering having a "heavy" pack but I haven't seen anything yet.

Whoever comes out with an ultra-low cg 360g - 400g pack will get some business from me.

Danny when you come out with a hard pack please see if you can get it to fit the RDX PHI.

Good call. I forgot that.

Danny the Traxxas connectors do seem cool but I think a lot of people dig the 4mm plugs. They work well with the alligator clips on chargers and allows people to use different connectors. Just my suggestion.

As far as getting the weight to be as high as sub-c pack in the case should be real tough. How much lead are you guys adding now ? I would think that would add to the size but there maybe a way and we will look into it.

Lots of lead or tungsten. I dont think you could get all the way up to nimh weight. Two sticks of tungsten should weigh it down nicely but would also increase the cost.
