The TA05 has been designed with an eye towards the twin goals of easy driving and easy maintenance. The key feature of this chassis is the innovative transmission system which incorporates two isometric drive belts mounted front and rear, interlocking with tooth surfaced centre pulley This design greatly reduces drive resistance to achieve better transmission efficiency at high speeds. The chassis structure has been redesigned for optimum balance, locating the motor in centre-left and battery in centre-right position. Centre shaft, drive belts and spur gear have also been repositioned for improved balance. Suspension is the same durable and reliable system found on the TA04 chassis.

Several features make this chassis wonderfully easy to perform maintenance on, such as the single deck frame and one piece motor mount. Front and rear bulkheads are identical and feature 2 piece detachable design. New style mount allows diff to be removed without detaching stabilizers. Includes spur gear cover.

Toyota introduced the Lexus SC430 as the successor to the Supra for the 2006 Super GT. Driven by the duo of Juichi Wakisaka and Andre Lotterer, the team,s best finish thus far was winning Round 4 at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia. With two rounds left to go, Wakisaka and Lotterer are tied for first place in the Driver's Ranking with Team Kunimistu, and currently hold the top spot in the Team Ranking above NISMO. While the final victory is still up for grabs, Toyota Team Tom's strong and consistent performance throughout the 2006 season has almost certainly guaranteed them a podium finish.

Features

Full ball bearings
Oil filled dampers
Aluminium motor mount
Twin belt drive
Centrally mounted motor for optimum weight distribution
Easy maintenance
Front & rear ball differential

The TA05 based chassis will be a load better than the TT01.
The TT01 is a effectively tamiyas beginers car... the Ta05 is a very competitive chassis...

Personally, I'd look at one of the first three you posted. They are all based on the same chassis, just different bodyshells. Pick which ever one you like.

As for the TA05-IFS chassis, I would avoid that to start, not because it's a bad car (far from it), but because it has a more complex front suspension setup, which might not be suited to your level.

Maybe he cant get a cyclone as theyre in short supply in the uk at the moment, but that is supposed to be changing very soon from what ive heard.

The TA05 can be upgraded to a very good spec, but its already very good value for money straight out the box
