Default lipo charging

ive just bought a much more cell master that only charges lipo upto 1a is this how you charge lipos or will it just take ages

i have an e-station BC-6 charger and I can charge up to 5A my lipo's without problems. 1A will take very long like you say. I found the Bantam and Estation charger very reasonable priced on Ebay and some online stores in Hongkong. They are often used by Heli-guys som you might look for one. Good luck!

it will suffice for charging TX and RX packs.


But if you need to charge race packs, you'd need to get a charger with higher charge amp capability... much more silent charger, ICE, Checkpoint, Orion Advantage, etc.

you should charge LiPo at 1C (4.9 for a 4900Mah for example), but charging at less than that will not harm the cells, just take longer.

I suggest you look at a dedicated LiPo charger that is able to charge at 1C

Much More Silent Charger. charges lipos, nimhs and nicds up to 6.0 amps.
