You bought a brushless speedo, thats all that matters. Now, if you have problems with it, let us know how their customer service treats you. There have been mixed reviews on their service...I for one give them the gasface

I have a Mamba Kv7700 and running fine but that is my decision. I like the CC stuff in my cars and they are easily programmeble through USB.

To be honest, Around these parts, you HAVE to run the Novak 13.5 and 10.5's around here. So running a LRP ESC with them is pointless, because a LRP and a Novak motor, the motor will not thermal, so you coudl potentialy burn your motor up

Are you saying a lrp spedo will not do temp on a novak BL?
and vise versa the novak will not temp a lrp BL motor?
I don't see that I thought a sensored motor was a sensored motor and
Could be hooked up to any BL ESC that reads sensored motor and you would
have all the options like thremal shut down.
so if someone could shed some light here. That would be great.

I have always got my questions answered or a problem resolved with LRP/AE
I don't know maybe I'm just lucky at what tech answers my calls.

I'm pretty sure the LRP does not check motor temp whatsoever. So if you run a Novak motor with it the sensor that monitors temp is ignored by the LRP ESC.

This is a personal preference. I'm in the same boat right now myself. I have ran both and have had a better experience running Novak. Novak's customer service is awesome. Speed is important but not everything. You still have to know how to drive!! Good Luck! PS. Nike is way better than Reebok!

i don't recall anything out of the ordinary. It just started to smoke and then started a blazing as I set it on the ground. they took a screw driver to nock the speedo out of the car before the whole car caught on fire. there were 3 gtbs that let all the magic smoke out.

that is the second car that has caught on fire in my hands
