1/12th Champ Racing In Nascar Today

Putnam Propulsion/Speed Merchant Team Driver Donnie Lia will be making his first start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series today at Loudon. He'll be behind the wheel of the Bill Davis #36 Toyota Truck

He was 13th quick in final practice, but starts 36th due to qualifying getting rained out.

I saw Donnie on ESPN's Nascar Now Show a few days ago talking about the Craftsman Truck ride thru Bill Davis. Good Luck to Donnie and I hope he does well.

20th one lap down is a good finish especially with Ron Hornaday running away from the field.

During the race they did show Donny once fighting for position with another truck for the lucky dog. Donny made the pass and the caution came out, putting Donny back on the lead lap. But did anybody see the right side of the truck? Donny makes passes in real race cars just like he does in RC cars!
