Default So I have this old Tamiya sedan

I want to run it. Can I still get parts for it if I break something?

It's a FWD, I *think* its a TA01 chassis, but I'm not 100 percent sure about that.

I love the old Tamiya's, they really were wacky. I wonder whose idea it was to use the motor as a front bumper!!!

I thought the TA01 was 4WD, looks to me like it's an FF01. The car is very old (it came out early 90's!) I think parts are going to be hard to track down!

Edit - just found a few parts: http://www.google.com/products?q=tam...Products&hl=en

Try finding the parts on ebay. That's where I find all my parts for my discontinued tamiya car kits.

Cool. Thanks for the links guys!

daveaustin5: Your right, it was called an FF01, I couldn't remember.

Here's another shot of it:

I dug it out today, I wanna drive it bad.

Drive it, enjoy it! If you're just driving it around on the street you aren't going to break anything!!!

I used to love driving my old Tamiya Mini around on a car park near my mates house. Back then I only had a trickle charger and a 1400mah stick pack so it was 12hrs between plays!

I'm gonna bash around in a parking lot with it. I may not be able to resist taking it to at least one race though.
