Thatīs why I bough a 3racing 416 axle and build it to suit original 416X bulkheads as it is made for 3racing 416 bulkheads that have screwholes for mounting it. I think I have like sixth axle in my WE at the moment, maybe the biggest problem with the car... With 3racing axle you can also get the spurgear really tight without getting it warped.

I am considering switching to a Tamiya TRF416X with the lipo-kit from Tamiya. I have some questions though:
How much weight do you (roughly estimated) have to put on the car, to get it balanced left to right? Everytime I see someone with a Tamiya, they have a ton of weight added to the side of their lipo. Is all that just to get it balanced, or for bringing the car up to the weight-limit? With my Xray I almost don't need any weight to get it balanced.
The weight-limit where I race is 1350g. Is it possible to get it close to that?
With the lipo-kit from Tamiya (with the Lipo chassis), can I flip the belts, in order to push the electronics more towards the center?
In my Xray I've got ECS drive shafts. Is something similar required getting for the Tamiya, or are the stock drive shafts good enough?

Hi,
I would like to try Tamiya springs on my car as a number of good drivers have said they work well. Been using TRF shocks 84008 for a few months and I really like them. Got a good understanding of Xray/TOP/hpi springs but no Tamiya experience at all. I've been told to get Blue and White springs.
However there seem to be coloured springs, all white and all black springs in different grades available. I'm a bit confused but I think I need the white and blue springs which are actually all white.
Can anyone explain the different types and applications, and perhaps give part numbers?

Both LTC R and Speed 6 are good. LTC is better for tight tracks with slow corners, the speed 6 has less initial steering than the LTC but better mid corner and high speed steering. I haven't tried the audi.

I have good in fied speed, but lack straightaway speed. Spur gear 104, pinion 44. Class I run is touring stock, unboosted. Motor: LRP X-11, Esc: Tekin RS. Running a TRF416WE. Jaco Blues are the spec tire.
I'm looking for Spur pinin combinations, not FDR.
