last i checked.. tamiya didnt make a 2 deg for the "newer" type suspension. the 416 switched to the style caster and steering blocks when the bearings went to the bigger 5x10 from 5x9.
you can use the older caster blocks.. they had those in 2 deg. not sure about compatibility with the 5x10 steering knuckle though.

Have just added the 0.5 washer underneath the front rear block, but the front pulley is just too close to the mount, not too comfortable with that to be honest... How much changes to the caster would that bring about with the added 0.5mm washer?
Off to another test run tmrw!

Tamiya cars pretty dominant at the European Champs this weekend. Apart from Ronald Volker being out in front with his Yokomo, Tamiya guys are 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 8th. Talking to the guys, they are really happy with the car - Elliott (2nd) and Jilles (4th) in particular have said with the new LiPo chassis it's pretty much perfect - the only thing letting them down is that Ronald is using a 'special' additive his Japanese mechanics bought over.
Could all change tomorrow in the finals though! Lots of videos, photos and reports at www.efra.ws
