yea iv already modified my 416x, flipping the belts and having all the weight centered, depending on how much the lipo chassis sells for i might leave it as is.

Can anybody point me to a better bumper for the 416? I'd like one that is a little wider than stock and stiffer.

Thanks

They're keeping Marc's car covered the entire time at Worlds.

It's to prevent Marc from touching his own car and messing up the setup

Ok, in that case. Square makes a thick plastic bumper guard that goes beneath the current bumper. It works well at keeping the front suspension intact. If you hit something hard enough, the bumper tends to bend down and it will scrape the ground during cornering. You will have to bend it back. I also noticed that since the bumper is hard, it tends to bounce the car back more when you hit anything. It also makes for a great ramming tool when you feel like hacking someone.
I give it 2 thumbs up.
The part number is STV-106

If your car stops turning, it's 'cause that plastic piece of crap is dragging on the ground. I'm not a fan like Ling, sorry.

The Parma T2 bumper is a pretty close fit. We usually get those and trim them a bit to fit on the car. It's inexplicable to me why nobody makes a proper hard bumper for the 416. I talked to Chicky about having Parma make one, but that fizzled out I guess.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. i'm not a big fan of those plastic under bumbpers either, but if that was my only choice I'd go with it. My best bet is to stop hittin stuff, but I have a better chance of hitting the lottery.

I was actually thinking the same thing, bet he is testing another make of chassis like the Smokin Extra flex one....... we'll never know as what they run will be kept secret hence some of their setup's just don't work..
