My first car was a Tamiya 15 years ago, the build quality/strength still looks 110% now.

i really dont care... every car has that layout now... i am just saying it looks the most like the cyclone only with different bulkheads and steering rack... they are all Asian they have to stick together

Some more observations...

Looks like the front and rear upper bulkheads are the same.... 3 link holes in each.
New shock towers, with an extra hole front and rear (5 F, 6 R)
Deffiently a two piece top deck...
Is it just me, or do the (45mm) driveshafts look thicker?
Lot of spacers behind the steering ball joints... looks like 4mm. Deffo a new brace too.
I wonder if were going to get another set of suspension blocks, so that they are easily flipable for the front (bridge blocks won't work with the off centre belt).
New rear diff outdrives to suit the bigger diff rings...

sure I'll spot more soon...

Default tamiya 416

hey all: Don't know if it's been shown or not,but here's a pic of it.Also said in the caption i read that this sedan as well as the new cefx 1/12th pan car are for brushless only.Is it the heavier weight and or the extra power of the low turn brushless vs brushed motors that requires differant cars for each motor type? Thanks for the info

The japanese market prefer oneways so thatīs proberly why its fitted at the show. The center is fixed as seen by the alu layshaft, center oneway will most likely be the first option for the car. Also spotted, new alu T-nut for the diff.
