Hey Mark,
Yeah, the 415 ones fit fine, hell the hole 415 suspension will fit. However, if you want to keep the suspension as close as possible to the 416, use HPI front hubs as well. If you use a 416 steering knuckle in the 415 c-hub, the axle will be 1mm higher, and this affects roll center and droop, among other things...also the steering links will be in a slightly different position. Using the HPI knuckle and 415 c-hub keeps it fairly close to the 416 geometry.

Other than a little filing of the 415 C hub it fits a treat.
Will have another measure thursday when I look at the car next

No need to file 415 chubs. They fit no problem. Just have to flip the bushings around and shim differently. I had to use a set of 2* blocks a couple weeks back because I broke all my left side 416 chubs.

Hi Guys,
Anyone Going to Bangkok for TITC?
Need some start-up setup for the 416 at RCS. What bodyshell would be suitable for the RCS track?

Cool, thanks for the tips on the mesh. Let me try and report back to see if I can save a spur or two

Hey Ed,
Your site is SOOO COOLL!!! Wow thanks for sharing the information.
One question, regarding your block chart for toe in and toe out, what should the tierod lengths be to use the Front in-board toe table?
Thanks so much again!

BTW how do you guys keep the rear diff clean? I am finding that I need to clean it after every meeting since the grease attracts a lot of dust and dirt. Is this normal?

re: gear meshing
BBoy :
A bit late but try it anyway. Use a pinion gear 1 teeth bigger that the one you're intending to use. Mesh it snugly at the tightest spot with your spur gear (remember, no spur/pinion gear is perfectly round, there is always a spot that appears notchy). Then take out the big pinion gear and install the correct-teeth gear.

I do what Fadzli does. Except I use JAAD diff covers. I can take a pic if you need to see what I'm talking about. I also tape over the diff adjustment screw hole to keep dirt out of there too. Just remember to be careful when blowing off the car. Do not blow directly on the diff. Always try to aim away from it.

I wish I was going. But I would start with kit setup. When you are there, talk with the Tamiya team. I'm sure they will guide you in the right direction. Are you racing Mod or 23t? Maybe you can take some pics for us!

I can't really tell you correct lengths for the required levels, as that will also vary with different amounts of ackerman spacers, and if you use a different hole on the hub.

Hi everyone
I'm not familiar with the term " Rebound Stroke " in Tamiya Setup Sheet.
Is Rebound Stroke = Downstop value in Hudy blocks ?
eg. 2mm rebound stroke = number 2 on Hudy block ??
Tks.
