Tamiya TRF416 / TRF416WE / TRF416X

Wondering, will 417 floatable servo mount fit 416x chassis?

Doubt it, unless you have the LiPo chassis. The 416 front belt is on left hand side, and the lower tab on servo was cut to clear the belt. On the LiPo chassis belt is flipped to right hand side, like the 417, so it would work. However the LiPo chassis is super hard to come by

ah, forgot to mention that i made some modifications and now my belt is on the right hand side... will post few pics...

Hi,
Coud anyone tell me what servo will fit on 416X? All servos that I have doens`t fit, looks need to be smaller because they touch on belt.
Thank you

so I i flipped my diffs and belts and there are a few mm of clearance between my diffs and the chassis plate. I dont think I have to open of the slots under the diffs. maybe its because my car has the 3racing bulkheads

Hello, i'm about to get a used trf416WE but i want to race it with lipo batteries. What option do i have to convert it for lipo? Thanks.

I ran mine with the WE Chassis and LiPo for two seasons.. I just taped it down. So you don't really need to change the chassis in my opinion.

If anyone has a new or used Tamiya Lipo chassis for sale please PM me. I would even take a roller with the Lipo chassis.

anyone have a link for a good setup for carpet for a 416x thats good for a base setup and i can adjust from there. Ive been out of rc racing for 2 years and the 416 has been collecting dust. Ive been flying planes for the last 2 years and don't have any planes to build or maintenance to do to them over the winter and i thought i would pick up some racing again for the winter months.
